No, everything is included in the package price, encompassing bike hire, helmut, protective clothing, insurance and pub lunch.
Yes we supply helmets, boots, enduro jackets/trousers, waterproofs (if required) and gloves. Knee and elbow armour, goggles and boots are also provided. You may use your own gear providing it is suitable. The only thing you will need to bring is a t-shirt or base layer you don’t mind getting dirty to go under the armour and a pair of thick socks to wear in the boots.
It’s not really practical for people to come and watch, because most of the riding takes place in the surrounding countryside, and not that close to our base.
Yes, to come on our day you will need to have a motorcycle licence. We can accommodate different levels of experience but a motorcycle licence is essential.
We have Public Liability Insurance however we do not provide Personal Accident Cover. Third party insurance cover is included.
You get between 4-5 hours out riding the bikes with a lunch break in between.
We provide EMountain bike hire, helmet, gloves and knee pads as part of the guided tour package. You may use your own gear providing it is suitable. The only thing you will need to bring is a t-shirt and trousers/shorts or base layer you don’t mind getting dirty. You will also need to bring a packed lunch.
Our Emountain Biking tours are available in 3 different levels of physical fitness, but even the beginner tour will require a basic level of fitness. Please check out the descriptions of our Emountain Biking tours to find out which one is best suited to your level of physical fitness.
We have a fleet of the latest Emountain Bikes ready to use on our guided tours. Our bikes have 12 speed gears and 4 power assist settings for the electric motor so are ideal for tackling off road tracks, providing assisted power when you most need it. Whilst the engine assists the cyclist, riders need to be aware that they will still need to put in a significant amount of effort during the rides. The battery on the bikes will last 5 hours under normal use but 1.5 hours for heavy use.
