If ride a motorcycle on the road, this is a great way to dip your toe into muddy water that is trail riding. Peter and Andy the instructors are very professional... read more and put you at ease as soon as you arrive. They teach you what you need to know without wasting time on numerous facts and figures. After a short practice session in a muddy field you get let lose on the trail. The pub lunch is good then it’s off on the trail again to get muddy and wet.
It’s a great day out.
April 8, 2018Excellent day out in the Surrey Hills. We are a group of old geezers with varying motorcycle skills going back to the 60's. Very professional instructors, well maintained bikes and... read more equipment and introduction to trail riding at the pace needed for individual groups. By the end, apart from being exhausted, we all surpassed our expectations of skill level and had a remarkable day to remember. Thank you.

As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with big smiles and steaming coffee. As complete novices to trail biking, the day was perfect. We started with a thorough... read more but well paced intro to the bikes, spent an hour on a flat field getting used to handling the bikes in the mud and then spent the day thrashing (paying the utmost respect to other countryside users) around the surrey green lanes. With an instructor at the front and one at the back, you are encouraged to go at your own pace. I had a huge smile on my face all day. The guys running this experience are the perfect hosts.
If you book on this (and you should) I would recommend taking a small bottle of water and ask for a mini backpack to carry it in (you are out all day), and a bit of cash if you fancy a coffee after lunch.

September 30, 2021Arrived to friendly greeting(really nice guys) and got kitted up which is all there, all you will need is spare socks and maybe underwear depending on how wet you get,... read more I went when it had been raining heavily the night before. We set out onto a field for the basics, you dont get basic instruction as these guys really know their stuff and explain everything, if you are not sure on something they are more than happy to help, theres no rush. After that its play time in the woods with mud, water and massive smiles, the bikes handle the terrain with ease. You return a better rider and a aching jaw from all the grinning you have been doing all day, lunch is awesome and the locals give respect when its given. If you are thinking of doing a trail riding day these guys are the best around, I will be going back, sunshine or rain I dont care.

June 1, 2020Singles, pairs and groups up to 6 in total, guided through a full day of off-road trail riding (some road sections between) by two really helpful and experienced coaches.
... read more /> In my group there were two pairs and two singles, we all mixed in and had a great time. I was keen to finish back uninjured (which we all did, except maybe one sprained thumb) and with more off-road skill than when I started (did this too).
The day started at 09.30 being kitted-out with decent trail boots, knee and elbow protection, jacket and trousers, helmet, glasses and gloves. Body armour was available at a small extra cost but none of us took up the option.
We were all provided with identical Honda CRF250L bikes, each was very well maintained and gave no problem during the day, despite some very tough use.
The day started with exercises in a nearby field, around markers etc then our first try at a stream entry and exit! Amazing how the bikes soaked up the bumps and pulled out the other side with minimal effort. Standing up on the bike seemed really natural very quickly, all demonstrated and encouraged by our guides.
Then off to the lanes for some real experiences before a filling lunch at a pub in Shere. Although we had a relatively dry day there was plenty of muddy water if you wanted to drive through it! Other times it might be more slippy and groups would drive slower, but it seems anyone with a full motorbike licence can manage this.
The afternoon ran from about 1 to 4pm, or just beyond, generally faster down the lanes, through deeper water, up hills and down, gravel and sand, chalk and pebble. Finally managed a brief milk-shake stop to cool off from the heat, before leaving our muddy bikes and gear to be washed out by the crew later.
Not sure how far we went, or even where, but it was a full day of great experiences with people we now know but didn't before. I can certainly recommend this to others and may well return on a wet and muddy day to gain some different skills. I started off having only taken a motorbike on a few dry lanes myself and ended this course doing 30 mph quite safely through mud and water....
It may not sound cheap when you first see the price, but when you see the quality of equipment provided, personal tuition, experience gained etc then we all felt it was worth every penny. I'd do it again - and probably will.
Just a few more comments: There is car parking on site (or in the side road at weekends), one chap used his own bike, we only needed to take dry socks for afterwards (and maybe a dry T shirt too), the garage was locked and alarmed when we left so any belongings were safe, no money was needed during the day.
Take a look at their website for photos and videos, call them to discuss etc. Only two forms to fill in advance, one with clothing sizes etc and another to sign as a disclaimer. Our motorbike licences were checked on arrival of course.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we all did!

They started off reasonably easy so we could build up some confidence on the bike (which was a honda crf250l) then became slightly more challenging later on in the day with some inclines and declines. We got the chance to see some awesome views and scenery while riding across the hills. A nice pub lunch was included. All the gear was provided and was in good condition. A great day out for riders of all abilities. My dad who is 56 had a great time. Peter and Tomas were very good guides/tutors and talked us through the more challenging parts of the trails before we rode them. Would go back and do it again!
